Small Arms Training System
Small Arms Training System (SATS) development is based on long-time experiences in range of small arms simulation and training systems.
SATS is developed using Hi-tech technologies along with E-COM's long time experiences with shooting simulators.
Key features
- SATS can be used:
- For effective and safe shooting training, without ammunition consumption
- For different training goals and levels as for:
- Marksmanship training (from beginners up to high level)
- Collective tactical training of Specialized Teams
- Design is provided:
- In correspondence with characteristics of the training weapons used and their operating procedures
- Possibility to connect up to 24 training weapons and instruments (such as observing or navigation devices etc.)
- Training weapons:
- Designed as accurate and 100% safe replicas of the modified original weapons.
- Designed to have a maximal similarity with the real weapons functionality
- Wire-less connection for data transfers to control computer
- Effective (pipe-less) recoil system which generate
- very similar experience of gunner as at the real weapon
- highest rate of fire, simple adjustable
- malfunctions (such as the weapon automatic jams and stops function)
- The training weapon has long life period (up to 1 million rounds)
- Scene projection system:
- Single or multi-channel systems
- From small screens up to panorama projection system
- Modern high resolution projectors (COTS)
- Accurate aiming system:
- Use special high resolution and high speed camera system
- IR lasers integrated in weapons (eye safe)
- System accuracy corresponds to real weapon parameters
- Virtual environment:
- Uses one of the latest generation high performance 3D visual and sound system
- Customer specific Terrain databases and Models
- Animated personal and animals, models
- Weather effects and time of day / year simulation
- Battlefield special effects (explosions, fire, smoke, etc.)
- Special effects (trasers, hit position identification)
- Scenario system:
- Based on pre-programmed scenarios or connected to a Computer Generated Forces system
- Computer generated scenario flow on base of trainees activity (uses principles of artificial intelligence)
- Scenario Generation Editor part of delivery
- Running scenario modification possibility
- Instructor Operator Station:
- Uses a windows based Graphic User Interface (GUI)
- Incorporates semi-automated training management functions
- Effective system for mistakes indication and results evaluation
- After Action Review (AAR)
- Trainees, results and training task databases
